Two pieces of public art, Cardiff Bay’s new ‘Codebreakers’ statue and Jonah Jones’s ‘Panorama Stone’, are neighbours

The groundbreaking new Codebreakers statue in Cardiff Bay has been installed in the former location of Jonah’s Panorama Stone on Landsea Square.

The Panorama Stone was installed in 1993 to commemorate Cardiff’s links with ports all around the world during its heyday as a great coal-exporting port.

Making way gracefully for the newcomer, the Panorama Stone has been promptly relocated by Cardiff Council just around the corner in Landsea Gardens, where, as before, there is a panoramic view of the Bay.
