Scene & Word has launched a new publishing imprint, Adastra Publishing, which will cover the work of living Welsh artists.
Books by or about Jonah Jones will continue to be published on the Scene & Word imprint. (Update: now The Cidron Press, since May 2025.)
The first Adastra Publishing book is Line Red to Space / The Magnitude is Green, an illustrated autobiography of the Constructivist artist, sculptor and imagineer Terry w Scales, who divides his time between Mumbles and central France – 336 pages, over 700 images in full colour, ISBN 978-0-9564314-2-4.
The book was launched on March 24th at the opening of Terry’s exhibition in Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, where the Jonah Jones Centennial Exhibition took place in 2019.
