Jonah’s Stations of the Cross, which used to be in the chapel at the former Loyola Hall Spirituality Centre on Merseyside before it shut several years ago, were moved in 2018 to St Beuno’s, the Jesuit retreat centre at Tremeirchion in North Wales.
Today they are mounted outside at the rear of the centre, each one with a small light above for darker conditions. They are ideal for a moment of solitude in the open air for retreatants residing at St Beuno’s. They are not, however, accessible for the general public.
Scene & Word wish to congratulate St Beuno’s for coming up with such an imaginative solution.
