Jonah was a versatile artist, always ready to try new media and learn new skills. While stone was always his favourite material for sculpture, he also carved in wood (including lettering), cast metal sculptures, and made figures and portrait busts in bronze. His mosaic work is particularly striking and stands comparison with the best of his art in churches.
