It has been a great year since I was awarded the Gwobr Jonah Jones (Jonah Jones Prize) for young artists, supporting me to present workshops in Y Lle Celf at Wrecsam Eisteddfod 2025. I have been fortunate enough to exhibit across the world, from Bangor to Brazil, to collaborate with wonderful organisations and to start my MA in Arts, Health and Wellbeing at the University of South Wales.
Awards such as this are extremely important for artists early in their careers, to build profile and gain experience, and I very much value being an alumna of this prize scheme.
