We are very proud to announce the launch of Oriel Jonah Jones (the Jonah Jones Gallery), a long-term project aiming to catalogue and display all of Jonah’s best known work in a definitive online site. This has been a key part of Scene & Word’s plan for more than a decade, so beginning to put it into practice is a big step forward.
It coincides with the launch of the brand-new Scene & Word website.
The original website, launched nearly ten years ago, no longer supported the latest mobile/handheld devices. Our new website should do all that and be available on any device with a connection to the internet.
The launch of our new website has also given us the opportunity to introduce the new Jonah Jones Store, where a growing selection of books, prints of watercolours and inscriptions by Jonah, and other products will be available at affordable prices. All sales will be non-profit and will help to support Scene & Word’s aims and objectives.
Also, another long-term aim is finally getting underway. Our website will become fully English/Cymraeg bilingual.
In another important media development, we have launched a new Instagram page, which complements our Facebook page.
