The Catholic Church of the Resurrection of Our Saviour, which contains dalle de verre windows and a large mosaic by Jonah Jones, has been sold following its closure in 2016.
Beresford Adams, the estate agent dealing with the sale, and Rebecca Garratt, Business Support Manager for the Wrexham Diocese, both confirmed that the artwork will be removed by specialists before the church is handed over to its new owner. It will then be safely stored until it can be installed in a new church in the Diocese.
