Description
Around the year 1990, Jonah Jones picked up a small sketchbook and painted a fantastical alphabet in watercolour, one letter to a page. He later left it for his grandchildren to enjoy. We digitised the letters to make up posters of the complete Welsh and English alphabets. On the frontispiece of the sketchbook Jonah had painted the title Alphabetum Romanum Jonah, which we also digitised to use as the title for both alphabets.
The alphabets are A3 posters, either mounted in card (37 cm x 50 cm) or unmounted (29.70 cms x 42.00 cms).
