Jonah Jones’s work at the Church of St John Fisher in West Heath, Birmingham, was carried out around 1963–64. It included small stained glass lights and four dalle de verre windows depicting the Lord as Good Shepherd, Teacher, King and Redeemer. With a predominant palette of purple and blue, these are particularly fine. Jonah revealed in notes written about his work for the church that the windows were “made of inch-thick [2.5 cm] nugget-glass from St Just-sur-Loire in France, set in ciment fondu [high alumina casting cement]”.

Jonah also made stations of the cross incised on glass and an enamelled crucifix for St John Fisher.
