Twentieth Century Society to include Jonah Jones glasswork in tour

The Twentieth Century Society (C20) is to include Jonah Jones’s windows newly installed at the Church of St David, Mold, in a tour of north-east Wales this summer.

C20 is a body which campaigns to preserve outstanding modern architecture and public art made in the twentieth century. The tour, entitled ‘A North Wales Weekend – Wrexham and Denbighshire’, will take place on 1–2 July. The schedule takes in sites in Wrexham, Llangollen and Rhyl before visiting St David’s. The tour will be led by Andrew Jackson, an artist and writer on architecture.

The tour is open to non-members of C20 at a cost of £210; the cost for members is £180. Bookings for the tour can be made on the C20 website, c20society.org.uk.

The project to install the windows in St David’s was completed in November 2022. The full story can be read here. The windows will be blessed by Bishop Peter of Wrexham on 4 June.
