Jonah’s biographer, Peter Jones, was interviewed on 8 July on the Radio Cymru program ‘Dros Ginio’. Jonah’s journey to becoming an artist was discussed; his wartime experiences, including joining 224 Parachute Field Ambulance as an unarmed medic, serving in north-west Europe, and taking part in the liberation of Belsen; then his time in Palestine; his work with John Petts; his working relationship with Clough Williams-Ellis; and the locations, particularly in Wales, of his public artworks.
