An article (about 1,300 words) by Jonah Jones’s son David Townsend Jones, who edited and produced Scene & Word’s first book, The Gregynog Journals, has been published in Parenthesis No. 20 (Spring 2011), the journal of the Fine Press Book Association. The article was commissioned by Sebastian Carter, UK editor and designer of the Anglo-American publication, which has a print run of 900 copies, 90 copies of which are a deluxe edition.

A few retrospective updates:
Page 2, paragraph 3: having listed, in a long sentence in the second paragraph, the several elements of our collectors’ set, finishing with The Gregynog Journals (which ultimately was what the article was about), the author might have made things clearer in the opening line of the third paragraph by inserting three simple words (the ones in italics): “I had the great pleasure and privilege of editing the text of the book and choosing the images…”
Page 3, paragraph 3: the “Dylan stone” is the Dylan Thomas memorial stone in Poets’ Corner, Westminster Abbey, designed and cut by Jonah in 1982.
Page 3, footnote: the collectors’ set is no longer available. However, The Gregynog Journals is still available in two versions, both printed by Northend in 2010: a few copies still in the original handbound hard cover, and a later softback edition. Prices are now £24.50 and £14.50 respectively (prices include UK shipping).
