Scene & Word’s first Gwobr Jonah Jones award in 2023 went to the painter Shauna Taylor. Her three images, Baby’s First Pint, Great-grandmother Sunbathing and First Kiss won her the Young Artist Scholarship: Highly Commended at Lle Celf, in Eisteddfod Llŷn and Eifionydd 2023.
