The 2025 Gwobr Jonah Jones went to the award-winning multidisciplinary artist Ffion Pritchard. Inspired by Jonah’s watercolour lettering and using his Alphabetum Romanum Jonah as her source, she ran a series of ‘cyanotype’ workshops at the Wrecsam Eisteddfod.
A graduate of the University of Brighton, her career has included representing Urdd Gobaith Cymru in Washington DC, where she worked on a public art piece, being part of the Wales in Venice invigilation team at the Venice Biennale in 2019, and exhibiting in collaboration with Ffotogallery (Cardiff) in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2026. She describes her community-engaged art as being “broad and eclectic, spanning multiple disciplines.”
