The 2025 Gwobr Jonah Jones went to the award-winning multidisciplinary artist Ffion Pritchard. Inspired by Jonah’s watercolour lettering and using his Alphabetum Romanum Jonah as her source, she ran a series of ‘cyanotype’ workshops at the Wrecsam Eisteddfod.
A graduate of the University of Brighton, her career has included representing Urdd Gobaith Cymru in Washington DC, where she worked on a public art piece, and being part of the Wales in Venice invigilation team at the Venice Biennale in 2019. She describes her community-engaged art as being “broad and eclectic, spanning multiple disciplines.”
